    A few months ago, I received an email notification that someone sent me a message on my linked in profile. It was from a recruiter, Daniel, basically saying, if I was looking for an opportunity, to give him a reply back. I get these a lot, and turn down the offers after thanking them for reaching out. I can’t say why I decided to entertain this recruiter, but I did. After two messages, we agreed on a time to speak. We spoke about my occupational background his background and opportunities that he had, if I was interested. The concepts that he spoke about were great, but the thing that struck me is, he wasn’t forcing me to make a decision. It was comfortable. I sent him my resume, which I thought how it was written was great. When he sent it back to me revised, I was put in my place real quick. I saw why he does what he does for a living, and I told him that. Well fast forward to getting into the lineup of potential managers for a concept, Daniel was encouraging, enlightening, and “cool as the other side of the pillow”. He was a great communicator with me concerning the brand, their background, where they are headed. He sent information to look over to better prepare me for each step I would take in the interview process. All this without asking, Daniel would even call or text to see how I was doing, and how the process was going. He even told me to call if I had any concerns or just wanted to talk, which I did utilize and we chatted for about 30-40 minutes one night. So all in all, I was picked as the new Culinary Manager for the concept. I am about to go to training in a few days, and he still reached out to me after the job was done. That’s something I didn’t experience with my last recruiter. Daniel, is definitely a great asset to Patrice and Associates, and with this being my first experience with them I can say I was impressed.
