Stand-Out of You’ll be Screened Out!

Hiring authorities are not going to take time to figure out why they should interview or hire you.  You need to stand out or you will be screened out.  Often the first step of the screening process is your resume and/or cover letter.  It is important to bring attention to your accomplishments and the impact they have had on your past employers.  Your Career Summary must also be keyword rich. 

It is important to have Unique Selling Presentation when you are speaking to or being interviewed by a hiring authority.  You need to determine why someone should interview or hire you vs. competitors with the same experience.  Determine what is unique about you and just as important how this uniqueness will benefit a potential employer.  Your Unique Selling Presentation needs to stand out or you will be screened out.

When you ask questions, they should uncover what is most important to the person on the other end of the phone.   Once you identify their priorities you can focus your answers to fit what is most important to them.  Your questions need to stand out or you will be screened out

Lastly, your follow up has to offer the hiring authorities more information vs. asking for an update or status report.  Your follow up needs to stand out or you will be screened out.  Follow this advice and you will experience more success in your job search.
