Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting:
    • Post positions to the Applicant Tracking System / company career page
    • Post and sponsor jobs on partner job sites
    • Review resumes/applications
    • Screen candidates using phone or zoom
    • Creating and following up on offer letters
    • Processing background checks
    • Sending onboarding
    • Track employee referrals
    • Creating job descriptions
  • Support the VP of HR and HR team with projects
  • Assist with employee relations matters
    • Coach and assist managers on employee relations matters including providing guidance on behavior and performance matters, ADA accommodations and complicated attendance and leave of absence matters, as well as investigations, while ensuring consistency and legal compliance
    • Review and revise employee relations documentation including corrective actions and performance improvement plans
  • Support the VP of HR and HR team with projects

Position Requirements

  • Previous experience working with an Application Tracking System (ATS)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment
  • BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business administration or relevant field
  • Additional HR training or certification will be a plus
  • Experience in the hospitality industry will be a plus
