Each  restaurant has been designed specifically for the communities we serve, so restaurant hours, menus and reservation sizes available may vary by location. We are open for lunch and dinner every day at almost all locations and large parties, private dining groups and special events are welcome.

Using the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking techniques, each Il Fornaio offers a wide variety of premium-quality Italian food paired with great wines and cocktails in beautiful settings located in California, Las Vegas, Seattle and Denver. All 22 kitchens are supervised and guided by Executive Chef Maurizio Mazzon using recipes and preparations that Italians have mastered over centuries of making great food.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of prior restaurant management experience in high volume ($6M+) casual or upscale/fine dining required
  • Exceptional people and development skills, and a proven track record in attracting, assessing, developing, coaching, and managing talent
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to Associates across all levels of the organization
  • Must exhibit the highest level of professionalism in dealing with team members
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Stable Job History
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Position Requirements

  • Managing all employees to maintain high quality standards consistent with the brand (includes hiring, development, counseling, promotion and discipline and termination as appropriate)
  • Proven ability to develop team
  • Knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
  • Ensuring that your restaurant is optimally staffed and that employees are fully trained in all aspects of their current job
  • Adhering to company standards and service levels to increases sales and minimize costs
  • Enforcing safety and sanitary practices, maintenance and regulatory compliance for the entire restaurant and premises
  • Ensuring that all operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment
  • Overseeing all restaurant administrative requirements including cash handling, completion of guest liability, property, casualty, workers compensation reports and governmental compliance
  • Ensuring that all company principles and beliefs are continually taught and practiced
  • Demonstrating high ethical standards at all times, adhering to standards laid out in the Company's Code of Ethics policy
