Don’s Approach:

Success in the hospitality business requires talented managers with technical expertise and excellent people skills. My approach starts with understanding your unique business profile, so that I can identify talent with the proven ability to build your business. For client candidates, I begin by identifying their technical and service strengths, as well as their personal goals. Having a deep understanding of both sides allows me to develop the best possible fits.

Next, I save you time. The hospitality business is built on excellent people—but identifying top candidates and vetting them takes time away from core business activities that drive revenue and profit. I draw from an established base of candidates and referrals and can quickly assess the best candidates for your specific operation. And because I already have a working knowledge of these candidates, I can identify those with the personality and communication style that fit your company’s culture. This tailored, individualized approach delivers positive results.

Finally, my ultimate goal is to help you take back control over your work schedule, personal commitments, and relaxation time. Few things are more satisfying than seeing my clients—whether they are businesses or candidates—find the right match so that they can grow and flourish.

About Don

Don grew up in Colorado farm and ranch country, where trust, loyalty, and helping neighbors were essential qualities instilled in him from childhood. As a tight-knit community, these values allowed him to thrive even during hard times.

They also were critical for success in Don’s next role in construction, where the ability to work with company management, fellow crew members, public agencies, and other companies’ crews and managers meant getting the job done on time and on budget. An opportunity for Don to launch his own business then led him to a 25-year career in insurance, where he built lifelong relationships—and a profitable business—on proven results and trust.

Hard work is great and Don’s love of life too—hunting, gardening, and breeding and training yellow Labs for hunting. He is an avid foodie, cooking what he grows and following restaurant trends as a consumer. The highlight of his year is when his grandson visits and Don enjoys watching that little city boy romp on the farm with the dogs.

Duke Witte absolutely was amazing! 

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Duke Witte for his assistance in finding me a new job in the hospitality industry.
