He walked me through my journey of getting a manager position at a great restaurant every step of the way. We probably talked 10 – 12 times on the phone, texted repeatedly and stayed in communication throughout the whole process. He gave me great tips for my interview and answered every question I had. Michael B. doesn’t have enough words to describe John Gatewood’s professionalism!There are not enough words to describe the man and the professional John is. I was in a difficult spot in my career and personal life. I thought I was done being a chef. Out of the blue John found me from an old application. I wasn’t trying to hear the same old spill that I’ve heard times before. Something in my gut said to stay and hear John out. John worked tirelessly and kept in constant communication, and I stayed the course with him. He even put his name on the line to get me in front of a higher up. Long story short I’m now in a better situation than I could have imagined. I will always recommend John to fellow chefs he wasn’t just lip service, John cares. And I appreciate him beyond words.
