Patrice & Associates Celebrates Outstanding Achievements at 2012 Annual Conference

Office Owners, Staff Recruiters and Corporate Leadership Team Collaborate to Continue Company’s Position Atop the Hospitality Industry

Patrice & Associates recognizes that staying at the top of the hospitality recruiting field will be a bigger challenge than the path it took to get there. With this clear understanding, the company recently brought together all of its stakeholders to share in inspiring and informative meetings, with the sole purpose of cementing Patrice & Associate in its leadership position.

“There’s nothing like bringing the entire Patrice & Associates family together under one roof,” said Patrice Rice, president of Patrice & Associates. “The best and brightest of the hospitality recruiting world gathered at the conference to share innovative ideas for the future. We have a clear path for Patrice & Associates to remain the recruiting company hospitality brands trust most to fill their managerial positions.”

Returning home from the motivational three-day conference, office owners, recruiters, corporate staff and vendor partners have retooled their industry leading talents to sharpen the company’s edge. The full-service hospitality recruiting company, with more than 30 offices in the United States, held its annual conference in Baltimore, Md. In addition to a strong educational component, the gathering also served as an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of its world-class recruiting offices and share best practices.

“The information sharing was outstanding. It’s a reflection of just how strong the Patrice & Associates family is becoming,” noted Rice, who started the company in 1989 and began growing it nationwide through franchising in 2008. “We’re on a trajectory to have more than 100 offices open in the next few years, and the strength of our current collection of franchisees is a big reason why our expansion is coming along so nicely. Together, we are laying the foundation for exponential growth.”

During group gatherings at the conference, a few of Rice’s most poignant comments included the business’ impressive performance from the first eight months of 2012. Exemplifying the company’s proven recruiting system and processes, Rice noted substantial systemwide revenue increases during this timeframe compared to the same period last year. In addition, the number of placements Patrice & Associates have closed is up significantly. Nonetheless, Rice reminded all in attendance about the dangers of becoming complacent.

“The insights that Patrice and the outstanding panel of speakers shared with us at the conference were remarkable,” said Gary Bernard, Houston area Patrice & Associates franchisee. “Consensus is that we’ve worked way to hard to get to the top to let anything get in the way of risking that position in hospitality recruiting.”

The most emotional portion of the get together was the awards dinner. Patrice & Associates handed top performers individual honors for their excellence in recruiting throughout the past year. Winners included:

  • Mike Cinamon – Indianapolis, Ind. – Franchisee of the Year
  • Paula & Gary Bernard – Houston, Texas – President’s Award
  • Vicki Marshall – Portland, Oregon – Top Business Development Award
  • Kim Corti – Sarasota, Fla. – Gift to Franchisee that endured the most hardship to attend the Conference
  • CJ Engelsher – Orlando, Fla. New Franchisee of the Year

  • I must say at first I was a little skeptical on what Stephanie was doing with my resume but now after seeing the results I am so glad listened instead of reacting. I will definitely continue with this company and I've already started to recommend Stephanie and what she can and is more than willing to do for each individual.

  • During my 20+ years career in hospitality I had the opportunity to work either directly or indirectly with several recruiting firms and individuals. My most recent job search lead me to Bruce Leininger with Patrice and Associates. Bruce is one of those rare individuals who combines needs of the employer with knowledge and skills of the job seeker. He sees both perspectives, analyses where there is common ground between employer’s culture and applicant’s strengths, then delivers a candid assessment to both parties. Bruce was relentless in pursuit of job opportunities and in finding the “right fit” for my career profile. EVERYTHING that Bruce said and promised in his introduction to me was delivered, and even MORE! Most importantly I truly felt that Bruce was genuine, understanding and caring in regards to my specific needs and goals. As far as I am concerned when it comes to recruiters, there is Bruce and then there’s everyone else.
