Marcell Ausborn is hoping his new Patrice & Associates hospitality recruiting franchise in Hampton will welcome people into a new job.
Ausborn opened the firm at 200 Candice Court. He hopes to help find jobs in the hospitality industry for people in Henry, Butts, Spalding, Lamar, Pike, Fayette and Upson counties.
“What I’m in the process of doing is targeting a lot of the restaurants in Henry County and the surrounding areas,” said Ausborn. “We recruit managers, cooks — you name it — for those entities.”
Patrice & Associates is headquartered in Dunkirk, Md. Ausborn, who has a background in human resources, staffing and recruitment, said his goal is to simplify the hiring process for companies and potential employees.
“Understanding our clients’ needs is crucial to effectively communicate with and hire the right candidates,” he said. “I’ve been a part of the Henry County community for 10 years. There wasn’t a franchise here in Georgia, so that was an opportunity.”
Ausborn said it is well known that people in Henry County, and those who visit the area, love to eat meals at local restaurants.
“The hospitality scene in the surrounding area is bustling, and our businesses dishing out great eats can really use a helping hand to find the right people to fill management positions with talented individuals,” he said. “At the same time, there is a fantastic pool of management-level talent right here in our backyard. We’re providing a bridge to bring hospitality businesses the right people for their open management jobs.”
Ausborn said he plans to host a seminar to let people know about how to secure a hospitality job in the area.
Sarah Prentice, a spokeswoman for Patrice & Associates, said restaurants and other companies in the hospitality realm are continuing to thrive in a struggling economy. She said Ausborn will help people capitalize on that growth locally.
“The hospitality industry is booming and as a result, restaurant companies and other hospitality businesses are struggling to keep up with the growing demand for qualified managerial talent,” said Prentice. “As an expert in the field of recruiting and with more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Marcell has a long track record of successfully acquiring and retaining top industry talent.”
