Getting a Job in the Last Quarter of This Year!
There are five reasons you need to put extra effort and energy behind your job search in the last quarter of this year.
REASON ONE:
Hiring authorities are motivated to spend their hiring budgets in the last quarter of the year. If they don’t spend their hiring budgets by the end of the year, their budgets are actually reduced for the coming year. It is because of this fact that you need to put extra effort into your job search starting TODAY.
REASON TWO:
Corporate profits are currently at record high levels and many employers surveyed intend to hire before the end of the year.
REASON THREE:
Many employers will also terminate average performers during the last quarter to eliminate paying year-end bonuses. These average employees would also qualify for additional vacation time in many instances if they are employed on January 1, 2013. These terminations open up opportunities for you!
REASON FOUR:
The Presidential election will be over, so the problem of waiting until after the election to hire, no longer exists.
REASON FIVE:
Job satisfaction is still at record lows and the people who are currently employed are accepting new opportunities which results in more jobs being available.
The worst thing you could do is delay your job search efforts until after the holidays like much of your competition will do. Don’t convince yourself that people don’t hire during the last quarter of the year – because now you know the opposite is TRUE!
