Considering a Different Target Market for your Job Search

Have you ever felt that you don’t know what you want to be when you grow up and you’re in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s or 60’s?  Technology has eliminated many positions that were prevalent in the past, but technology has also been responsible for creating thousands of new jobs.  If you have been in your job search for over 90 days with little or no results, you may want to consider a different target market.  Now the question becomes – what field do you want to pursue?  Where would you be the happiest?   Many of your skills are transferrable to other professions i.e. communication skills, computer skills, work ethic, problem solving abilities etc.

Even if you plan to stay in your current profession or industry, these assessment tests provide information that will assist your search process.   Often the results help put new energy and enthusiasm in to your job search.  Many employers will hire before the end of this year so continue to put as much effort and energy into your job search as possible from now until the end of the year.
