Michael O'Connor is a blessing!
I was contacted by Michael O'Connor through an internet sourcing engine. He was reaching out to see if I was interested in a role in the MA area for a local restaurant group. I have been passively looking for a few months, but nothing really peaked my interest. Also, most other recruiters that had reached out did not follow up, or were not responsive if I asked questions. Leaving one place of employment for another is a big deal, add in a Director Level Role and that adds a whole other layer of stress.
Michael reached out and provided some information on the role, then answered questions as they were asked. They helped prepare a resume that was in the format that the client was looking for, highlighting solely my achievements, they set up all of the meetings, followed up every step of the way and was very open and transparent.
The process was easy, and after two great interviews I was offered a role at my salary request. Since then I have heard from Michael, congratulating me on the role, and also letting me know that he will be in touch to make sure that this role is everything that he represented. On March 21st I will be beginning a new job at a fabulous restaurant, all thanks to Patrice & Associates and especially Michael Greig. From the very first time Michael and I spoke, I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a recruiter. Michael was so genuine in his finding out why I was leaving my current position, I trusted him immediately. Tony Bucklen has been a great partner throughout the recruiting process.
