Client Overview This establishment was built in 1993.  It is steps away from the beach.  Very busy hotel.  It ranks in the top 10 in retention nights out of 4000 properties.  They have 100% occupancy throughout the summer with an ADR of 400-500.  The hotel went through a $6 million renovation and just reopened in June 2021.  Property has 118 newly renovated guest rooms.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Assist General Manager in management of hotel and departmental budgets.
  • Oversee the management of the staffing functions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality service to guests.
  • Work with General Manager to help oversee the development of sales and promotional strategies for the hotel’s products and services.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of safety/security policies and procedures for the Hotel.
  • Ensure security incidents and accidents are logged in accordance with hotel and brand requirements.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of current Assistant General Management experience with a mid-scale hotel brand
  • Progressive and stable work history- no more than 2-3 jobs in 10 years
  • Candidate must exude hospitality
