We are 100% supporters of Career Builder. As restaurant recruiters we find our best results come from Career Builder. Here’s an article that validates our allegiance to Career Builder. Monster officially acquired HotJobs from Yahoo last week, paying $225 million for the third largest U.S. job board, and setting in […]
Having been a restaurant recruiter in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, it’s pretty clear that Americans are ultra conservative when it comes to where they chose to dine. Whereas other countries have really bizarre restaurant concepts like toilet themes and jail themes, probably the most “out there” concept […]
As recruiters in the hospitality industry, we are seeing more “healthy” restaurant chains emerging as well as more “healthy” choices added to the menus of our current favorite restaurants. After researching this trend, I found that an actual study has been recently completed. The findings are below as reported in […]
As restaurant recruiters, this is especially great news for us to hear! Consumers’ appetite for restaurant dining out has grown significantly from six months ago, according to a new study from consumer research firm Market Force Information. This is another great indication that the restaurant industry is strong and can survive […]
When our Mission says “Recruiting is about helping people” we mean it. Every week we receive testimonials where we have helped people find jobs. We were successful where other recuiting agencies failed. We cared about the person and went the extra mile when no one else would. This testimonial from […]
Many restaurants, especially those with limited bar space, are turning to tableside cocktail service to provide more customers with the hand-crafted drink experience. Toby Maloney of Alchemy Consulting turned to an old-fashioned solution as he developed the bar program at New York’s Bar Seven Five, which does not have a […]
Arby’s, which has struggled to drive sales in its restaurants, may extend its reach by offering branded products in grocery stores. The 3,700-unit chain said Friday that it had signed a deal with Nancy Bailey & Associates Inc., an Atlanta licensing firm, to begin fielding offers to sell packaged Arby’s […]
This article was released by the Associated Press and is so much on-target. I personally have seen this type of concept popping up in the Baltimore/Washington area. This is another case in point of what I have always said – food is here to stay! In America people will always eat […]
I hear stories all the time and receive testimonials from people that the recruiters at P&A have helped find jobs. There are lots of recruiters out there calling you, wanting to work with you, acting like they have your best interest at heart. There are recruiters that tell you they […]
Daniel A. says Helen Nourai made a positive impact on his career!
I faced a huge challenge finding a new opportunity before I connected with Helen. Every place I
applied to either never responded or canceled interviews at the last minute, which became incredibly
frustrating.
Helen helped me find a new opportunity and gave me the motivation to start a new chapter in my
career. They provided valuable advice on improving my resume, strengthening my interview skills, and
communicating more effectively. Most importantly, they helped boost my confidence and prepared
me to succeed in interviews.
Thanks to their support and guidance, I am now in a new role and more motivated than ever to make
a positive impact on my career. I’m truly grateful for everything they did to help me achieve this
milestone.
I just wanted to say thank you to Helen for her support, guidance, and encouragement throughout my
job search. Your advice helped me improve my confidence, strengthen my interview skills, and stay
motivated during a challenging time. I truly appreciate everything you did to help me land this new
opportunity, and I’m excited to begin this next chapter in my career. Thank you again for believing in
me!
Thank You,
Daniel A.
I just want to say that Helen is a wonderful person. She didn’t make me any promises about finding work but she took a chance on me, and I am forever grateful. She checked in on me and always offered encouragement and very positive vibes. She definitely changed our lives for the better. I am so thankful to her and feel this was more than a business experience but a very personal caring one. She is awesome and a total asset to your company.
Thank you

Helen was an exceptional recruiter—friendly, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. She maintained consistent communication and continued to check in even after I began my new role.
It’s clear that Helen truly cares about the success and well-being of both her clients and candidates. I highly recommend her, and it was a real pleasure working with her.
Thank you,

I have nothing but good things to say about Helen. She initially contacted me for a different role after a short talk; she contacted the company and told them great things about me. She checked in with me during every step of the process, even after I was hired, she called just to see how I was doing.
At one point I tried to compliment her efforts in helping me, but she did not want any credit for her role in making it happen, but it was because of her. She went above and beyond to help connect me with the company.
Based on my interaction with Helen, I can tell that she is a person that is passionate about what she does. In her eyes she sees it as helping others and not as a job that she gets paid to do.
Thank you,
Francisco
Francisco G. says that Helen Nourai is passionate about what she does
I have been employed for many non-stop years until the beginning of this current year when I got laid off for the first time in my life. Needless to say, applying and interviewing was not something I had done in a very long time. I was not getting any good results, and my opportunities were not looking good. I was seriously lost and discouraged. Luckily for me, I was found by a recruiter, Helen Nourai, who saw something in me that no one else did. She interviewed me, and she was very easy to talk to and understood where I was coming from. She felt I would be a good fit for a company she was representing. Her help with editing my resumé and preparing me for each set of interviews was immeasurable. Needless to say, my interviews all went well, and I was hired shortly after. I am currently halfway through my training, and I am having a great time. She set me up with a great company! I feel like I will be successful here, and I owe it all to her. I don’t plan on losing a job again, but if I do, she will be the first person I call.
Thank you, Patrice and Associates, and thank you Helen!
Sincerely,
Tony P.
