Growing up I always worked in the Restaurant business while attending high school and college. Through college and after receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Business (HR Management/Minor: Psychology), I was a Restaurant Manager for a Full-Service concept while obtaining my MBA. After over 10 years in the restaurant industry, I took a position with a Regional Staffing Firm and worked my way up from Recruiter to Branch Manager to Regional Manager and eventually as Director of Sales & Marketing for over 20 Staffing locations on the East Coast. I loved my job and excelled at it for the mere fact is I loved what I did. I was involved in empowering others and helping people reach better opportunities in their career.
While working for the Staffing company, I received my MBA, got married and had 3 beautiful daughters in a 4-year period. It was evident that one of us had to stay at home, so I did. While being a stay at home mom is very rewarding my entrepreneurial spirit escalated me in my part-time career of Mary Kay where I earned 4 free cars, worked up the rank to Sr. Sales Director and oversaw a consultant team of 120+ people. This was very rewarding as well as I was able to empower woman and make people beautiful along the way.
After 13 years of staying at home and running my Mary Kay business something was missing. Hence, where Patrice & Associates came into my life. I knew I wanted to go back into the workforce but wanted to be my own boss. I wanted the flexibility to be active and present in my girls lives and build a business.
When I met Patrice Rice in 2016, I knew P&A was my future. I even informed her that it was the universe that brought us together. Who would’ve dreamed I would find the company with the same core values I hold close to my heart which allowed me to take my past 4 decades of experience.
I have found my home and working daily to better the lives of others is just the bonus. I can be the one that cares for my girls when their ill, coach their field hockey and lacrosse teams and never miss an event.
