David took a personal interest in me.
My relationship with David Israel began in early May/late April. I use the term “relationship” because from the get go and through our conversations he began putting together a list of clients that would fit my skill set. By reworking my resume, he made me more attractive to the possible opportunities (My resume was, needless to say, a hot mess), and got me into the room to talk to multiple employers where I could sell myself on those said skills. Because of David, I was afforded two offers from companies so I could weigh the pros & cons, and make a choice that best suits myself, and my family. The end result is I begin my new job next week! My man David is not only an excellent recruiter, but truly a good man who will take a more personal approach to make sure you get a chance to make that first impression. My only regret? He is a very easy person to speak to on the phone and wasted no time getting me ready and prepared to take on the current job market. He was very instrumental in getting my resume set up in the most current and trending manner so I was appealing to companies. Beyond that, he was always just a phone call away if I had any questions and he gave me real life advice and insight for the people I would be interviewing with not just a LinkedIn profile, like I have gotten from others in the past. At first when I received the email I was uncertain that this would work. Upon talking to Michelle I discovered that not only was she really nice, but also quite resourceful. I started the process on a Tuesday and literally one week later I was offered a job on the spot, thanks to all of her assistance. We talked and I was able to be open with her. She was able to put me in the mindset of my now area manager to go over what to say and do, and what to leave out during the interview. We went over resumes and she showed me how to improve mine so that I stood out. Overall if I ever had to do this again I would gladly work with Michelle but I’m secure in my career path. In early November of 2019 I began a preliminary search for new employment. As I was currently employed I’d say I was less than aggressive in this search . After a few short weeks of my resume being posted on INDEED I received an email from Mr. Tom Schmitt representing Patrice & Associates . After a great “ get to know you conversation “ Tom informed and educated me on an exciting opportunity coming soon to my area. After a second interview style phone conversation Tom put me in contact with a District Manger representing this opportunity. Shortly there after I had an offer letter which far exceeded the compensation and overall benefits package that my current employer was offering . I had the pleasure of working with Sue Wooten of Patrice & Associates at the end of 2019. I had assumed that most hiring was complete for the year, but because of Sue's dedication to wrapping up my hire before the end of the year, she made sure that nothing was left to chance. She moved my new employer to make quick decisions, facilitate all calls and interviews, prepared me to discuss my previous experience and introduced me to my new companies goals and challenges.
