He is kind and professional, and unlike many other recruiters, he was not overly pushy about having a conversation with me. He reached out to me via LinkedIn, with a brief description of the position he was working to fill, and I sent him my email for more information. After that, we had a brief phone call and it was obvious he has been in hospitality, based on his calm and easygoing demeanor. He was a good listener, and he gave me a detailed description of the position and told me everything he knew about the team. I should mention that even with a decent resume, I have spent the last 8 months looking for a long term, full time position. Through the whole process he was very transparent and responsive. I truly felt like he cared about my expectations, and also wanted to find the right fit for the job.

There were several interviews I went through for this position, so it took a few weeks, and Ed was there every step of the way. After our initial phone call, which really only lasted a few minutes, he emphasized that I should not hesitate to reach out to him via call or text at any point, but he did not ever call me at inconvenient times, nor did I feel that his presence was at all overbearing. He checked in a few times a week to see where I was in the process, and assured me he would follow up with the company as well. It gave me a lot of confidence going into the interviews feeling like I had support and preparation. This was, by far, the best experience I have had applying and interviewing for a job, and this is definitely the best job offer I have ever received! It is clear that Ed Carroll cares not only about his own business, but cares about the person he is working to place in the job as well.
