Position Overview & Responsibilities

Location: Must be able and willing to work in any of Eickhoff’s 5 locations in New Jersey (Delran, Mt. Laurel, Hainesport, Cinnaminson, or Burlington). See CDS for store addresses. Summary of Position: The Store Director will develop programs that will enhance the overall presence of all departments, keep them fresh and give the perception of value to our customers.  The primary area of concentration is to maintain daily department conditions while following all company financial and labor budget guidelines. The Store Director will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing corporate gross profit objectives and will assist in the development of policies and procedures which will assure our position as a premier shopping destination within our marketplace.

Position Requirements

  • Must possess sound written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with various stakeholders
  • Must be able to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and solve problems with certainty.
  • 5 to 10 year’s supermarket managerial experience and operational expertise in a high volume supermarket environment (at least $1 Million / week, but $1.5M / week preferred).
  • College degree preferred.
  • Flexibility with regards to schedule and travel (Weekends and Holidays are necessary)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Database) applications
