Michael A. Kunkle

I have Over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Most recently as a director of operations for Ruby Tuesday. I have worked with recruiters from both sides of the issue, both the hiring and the being hired. Recruiting is a great opportunity to really help people. The hospitality industry is a tough industry to work in and the true key to happiness is finding the right fit. The right person in the right job with the right company. A true recruiter is someone who is helpful and honest. Willing to return your correspondences and tell you the truth, not just what you want to hear. Coach you and be a mentor for you. Anyone can call people and fill job orders, a true recruiter will be honest with you and tell you the truth even when it is not what you want to hear. I have spent my career and pride myself in being honest even when honest wasn’t the
“cool” thing to be. I know the hospitality industry in depth and know what it takes to be a success. A true Recruiter is someone who is an advocate for both the hiring company and the candidate. I can not imagine a better rush than when I find someone the dream job they have always wanted.
