Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to develop sales, the brand, equity-building initiatives, create consumer programming and engagement, and influence strategy
  • Work with the partners and general managers to create annual and quarterly sales budgets/forecasts that include strategic marketing plans with specific sales and profitability goals, tactics, measurements & timeframes
  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive transactions to improve our competitive position, and ensure maximum growth and profitability
  • Direct the development and implementation of all marketing objectives, email campaigns, creative media and community partnerships to meet quantitative sales revenue, guest satisfaction and guest retention objectives
  • Lead short-term and long-term strategy regarding new product development, introductions and launches, program innovation and overall business development
  • Maintain and manage the Sales & Marketing calendar
  • Lead and manage PR, graphic design, SEO, social media, photography and other digital components
  • Oversee content and strategies to grow engagement across all online channels; routinely report on metrics
  • Manage third-party delivery promotions to drive sales goals
  • Employ data analytics to evaluate consumer trends, identify guests’ preferences, and derive data-fueled insights and use the analytics to determine ROI and effectiveness for all campaigns and promotions; conduct detailed retrospective reviews to identify lessons learned and next actions
  • Actively monitor social media channels and identify any emerging trends and/or issues
  • Oversee responses on social media and review sites; respond in a timely fashion using brand voice/language
  • Remain abreast of emerging industry/consumer trends to guide strategies & serve as the voice of the consumer
  • Cultivate and maintain close relationships with independent local operators for collaboration opportunities

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years in the hospitality/restaurant industry and a minimum of 5 years in a marketing role and 3 years in a leadership role
  • Executive level expertise; highly strategic, creatively-minded and results-oriented marketer
  • Strong skill base in brand management/development, sales, marketing, promotion and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated track record of marketing success in fast-paced entrepreneurial work environments
  • Experience with an emerging brand that uses local marketing as well as digital/social media to drive sales, brand awareness and loyalty
  • In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry (preferably Fast Casual) or retail industry
  • Strong hands-on leadership skills and experience in managing a team while fostering a collaborative, results and learning-driven culture across the Company
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Be a self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and holidays
  • Able to drive to all store locations
  • Experience using Zoom Webinar, Google Analytics, Google AdWords or related applications
  • Four-year degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
