Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Build the events business with the support of the General Manager
  • Solicit, book, plan, manage and execute client events
  • Meet or beat personal and team budget targets by monitoring sales/expenses and adjusting controllables as needed
  • Collaborate and coordinate with PR, Marketing, and restaurant staff
  • Promote a positive and motivating work environment for staff; lead by example
  • Provide guests and clients with outstanding customer service
  • Network and attend industry mixers to build contacts

Position Requirements

  • 2 Years experience as a Sales & Catering Manager in a high-volume ($5M+) upscale-casual, full-service restaurant or event space
  • Able to work under pressure with ease, especially during very busy meal periods and events
  • Able to work Tues-Sat 8-5PM with some nights, holidays and weekends
  • Display strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Loyal and passionate about service
