Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Focus on Guest Service, acting as liaison between guests and servers and kitchen to ensure exceptional experience
  • Staff Management - Maintain plan for restaurant staffing need; hiring, training, scheduling - ensure adequate staffing for all shifts
  • Operational / Financial - Oversee alcohol sales to maximize profitability; collaborate with vendors / suppliers; manage inventory / ordering of all food, beverage, and restaurant supplies
  • P&L input including sales reconciliation, cost accountability and preparation of daily balance sheet
  • Familiarity / experience with restaurant software / POS systems/ scheduling software

Benefits

  • Bonus potential: 1% of profits
  • 50% paid medical, vision, dental package
  • Paid vacation: 2-weeks beginning year 1 (1 week after 6 months; 2nd week after another 6 months) / 3 weeks beginning year 5

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of our (4) years, high-volume ($5 million+) Fine Dining restaurant management experience to include 2-years as manager
  • Strong beverage experience / background (esp. wines & cocktails)
  • Experience in restaurant POS and on-line reservation systems
  • Working knowledge of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, record keeping and preparation of essential reports
  • Knowledge of state alcohol serving regulations
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent background experience) preferred in hotel & restaurant management
