Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Helping  manage as many as 20 people between line and prep cooks as well as dishwashers!
  • This is a "working" position--not much if any time in the office--most of the time will need to be in the kitchen doing one of the following: -Training -Executing and making sure recipes are executed correctly by line cooks/kitchen staff -Observing and coaching line cooks on efficiency and technique -Ensuring sanitation and cleanliness standards are met and kept
  • Additional responsibilities to include: -Employee Evaluations (not total responsibility but assist Kitchen Manager/Exec Chef) -Scheduling (in support as noted above)


  • BC/BS Premium - Company pays 1/2 of the cost

Position Requirements

  • Formal Culinary Education a PLUS but not required
  • 1-2 Years of High Volume Kitchen Experience managing others
  • A solid job history and progression--definitely no job hoppers
