Client OverviewThis concept closes between 10 pm-Midnight daily (last call no later than 10:45 pm for food and beverage), and is open 7 days a week starting at 8 am. Unique concept that is a mix of sports, bar, casual dining, with a gaming atmosphere.  Our Client provides event/banquet style catering for groups as large as 150 people for birthday parties, team building or corporate outings. They feature multiple pool tables, arcade games and stuff for all ages to be entertained by.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team by example. Provide Back-Of-House staff with necessary training and direction in quality, cost control and food, answer questions, etc.
  • Coordinate Back-Of-House staff to ensure coverage of all shifts
  • Manage kitchen area to include recipe adherence, ordering, inventory, etc.
  • Assist in inventory and ordering of supplies for the back of the house
  • Manage kitchen equipment and maintenance, alert F&B Manager as needed
  • Organize and direct training of new hires – develop the process
  • Ability to develop and implement new processes to increase efficiency with cooking processes, safety, cleanliness, and customer service
  • Recruiting, sourcing, reviewing, interviewing and hiring for all kitchen positions
  • Working manager – proficient in line cook positions including pizza, salads, fryer, flat top and char grill, lead and expo with 5+ years’ experience in high volume locations, candidates also need basic/limited bartending and serving positions experience with 2+ years’ experience, able to cover shifts when necessary and work busy lunch/dinner service
  • Collaborative leadership team
  • Direct reports include line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwasher positions
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed for smooth operations

Position Requirements

  • 5 years in Restaurant Industry, and at least 2 of those years as a salaried manager
  • Current experience as a salaried manager in full-service
  • Casual Dining background with late night/alcohol background –no fast food
  • Minimum $2M sales volume experience
  • Must be comfortable working in sports bar –someone fun & energetic, not easily offended
  • Demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth while continuously improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proven track record in maintaining strong cost controls, and quality standards
  • Must be a working manager and have experience listed above in certain positions
  • Excellent communication skills; demonstrate hospitality on all levels
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment
