Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of a casual restaurant with a full bar
  • Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM
  • Ensure policies are upheld
  • Inventory, ordering and upholding store cleanliness
  • Guest interaction and maintain restaurant appearance
  • Other typical responsibilities to ensure ease of operations
  • Build a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide People, Profits, Customer Experience, and to take Pride, Ownership and Accountability in the workplace
  • Manage Associate Performance
  • Maintain Employee and Administrative functions as related to a Manager's role
  • Responsible for all opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
  • Manages standards and commitment to quality
  • Responsible for scheduling oversight of each department
  • Responsible for the managing of all daily and weekly reports
  • Foster teamwork by building effective teams committed to restaurant and organizational goals
  • Operate with a high degree of Professionalism, Ethics and Integrity, maintaining a role-model image
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Position Requirements

  • You must have worked in a restaurant management position for at least 2 years
  • Your restaurant experience must have been at least 1 year in a restaurant doing more than $2 million in annual sales
  • You must show good tenure by having had no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years or no more than three jobs in the last nine years
  • You cannot be out of the restaurant industry for more than 6 months without a valid reason
  • Current ServSafe certification is a plus
