They partnered with their first restaurant in September 2013.  Since then, they have rapidly grown to a company of fifteen restaurants located in seven states.  They empower and incentivize the General Managers (GMs) to make smart decisions as they lead their restaurants. The executive management supports these GMs in all aspects of the business.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Create a strong culture around our core values
  • Recruit, manage, train, nurture and coach management team and staff
  • Manage and grow the P&L finding innovative ways to grow sales, manage costs while delivering the brand and great customer service
  • Work closely with and manage vendors
  • ….and all the responsibilities that come with running a $2.0 million restaurant

  • GMs 20% first year and 25% of salary year 2 and on - Paid Quarterly
  • Very transparent Bonus system based on 12 key attributes - Sales, COGS, etc.  quantifiable and GMs can calculate bonus on an ongoing basis and know exactly $ amount they are qualifying for
  • KMs and Assistant Manager:  Additional Bonus Pool if store and GM hit numbers - Pool is divided as determined  by the GM

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years General Management experience in a casual full-service restaurant with volume of at least $1.5 million in annual sales
  • Ability to manage a P&L, budgeting, forecasting and all restaurant operations
  • Knowledge of all federal, state and local health and sanitation laws and regulations
  • Great leadership and people management skills
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service
  • Minimum high-school diploma or equivalent (Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields are preferred. Bachelor’s degree / culinary degree preferred)
