Client OverviewOur client is a different twist on a cafe that tries not to take themselves too seriously.  What they do take seriously is their food and their service.  To them, nothing is more fun than treating guests to great food and a great time in one of their restaurants. Their food is authentic, it’s made from scratch every day in each restaurant and it’s darn good.  Some of it sounds a little weird, like Rat Toes (really, they aren’t) or the Grilled Gator Tail (really, it is).  Some of it is hard to pronounce, like the Shrimp Piquant or Chicken Tchoupitoulas – feel free to point when you order (that happens a lot). Our client has been at this for over 27 years and  made a lot of friends along the way.  They like to think that didn’t happen by accident. Privately owned and operated - 19 stores in Texas and 1 in NC  with expansion plans underway for TX, NC/SC

Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Report to and support General Manager
  • Assure customer experience is exceeded
  • Unfailing work ethic
  • Ability to attract and develop quality staff and promote a teaching and learning environment
  • P&L, food cost, and inventory management
  • Ability to partner and build relationships with management, colleagues, and vendors while demonstrating leadership and integrity and promoting team success
  • Ability to motivate others to accomplish goals
  • Knowledge of food specs and execution

Position Requirements

  • You must have worked as a Full Time Manager for at least 1 year with FOH experience
  • Full service bar experience preferred
  • Up and coming leaders with proven track record of performance and progression
  • Professional appearance
  • You must have full flexibility with your schedule.
  • No more than 3-4 jobs in the last 10 years
  • Manage staff (schedule, assist in training, handle issues, etc.)
  • Ensure policies & procedures are upheld
  • Ensure store cleanliness and general upkeep, etc.
