Client OverviewOur Hospitality Client is a lively, independently-owned restaurant and bar that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine and hand-crafted margaritas, providing a fast yet satisfying dining experience in a casual, upbeat atmosphere that encourages guests to hang out before, during and after dining. This comfortable, inviting restaurant and bar, first founded in Columbia, S.C., by college friends who love food and travel, is a go-to for families, couples, young professionals, the business community and college students – perfect for a night out and drinks with friends or a quick meal with coworkers during a lunch break.

The bar is stocked with a selection of premium tequilas, and "skinny" margarita fans love the Cantina Margarita, sweetened with low-glycemic agave nectar. With contemporary, eclectic décor and TVs for big games.  Lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and the bar has been known to stay hopping well after the last Peruvian shrimp taco of the day has been served.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front-Of-House operations of this high-volume, full-service casual restaurant with bar • Supervise, train and coach service staff, promote a learning environment • Drive top line sales, demonstrate accountability and hands-on service of all guest needs • Set the standard for high quality guest service through leadership by example • Communicate with guests on a daily basis to ensure satisfaction of service and food • Work closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager on continuous improvement of training and development to help increase sales

Position Requirements

• 2-3 years of salaried Restaurant Manager, Front-Of-House Manager, or Service Manager experience in high-volume, full-service casual restaurant with bar • Must be passionate for high quality food and guest service, with full bar experience • Proven track record leading a restaurant team in a high volume restaurant • Approachable leadership style, quick thinking, passion for developing self and others • No more than 2 jobs in 5 years, 3 jobs in 9 years • Open availability to work nights, weekends, etc.   #1 Hospitality Management Recruitment Agency   EOE - Equal Opportunity Employer
