Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • The Chef de Cuisine / Executive Chef is responsible for the daily operations/administrative aspects of kitchen from preparation to execution of all meal periods
  • Develop and cost menus and recipes that delight our customers and are well-matched with our repertoire, for both our private and public dining rooms
  • Supervise, train, coach and motivate kitchen staff
  • Ensure consistently high quality of raw ingredients and finished dishes
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, scheduling, food & labor costs, health & safety

Position Requirements

  • 1 year experience in as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume ($5 M+), fine-dining, Italian restaurant
  • High School Diploma or GED required.  Culinary Certificate preferred
  • Current Food Handler certification
  • Display strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule
  • Loyal and passionate about food quality and Italian cuisine in particular
