Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Our client is seeking the culinarian that wants to work in a kitchen and head a team as an executive chef over multiple venues set in a compact, manageable setting.
  • Day to day operations: Assist the COO in leading all day-to-day operations and management, including deputized leadership of the Dining Rooms, Bar, Host Stand an
  • Training: Assist the COO in executing and overseeing all training activities
  • The CDS must be an evangelist for the values of the Company
  • Execution of the company handbooks: The standards and tenants of operations are contained in the Company’s handbooks that is authored by the Company.
  • A primary role of the CDS is to faithfully and authentically install and completely integrate them into the operation.
  • The CDS needs to personally believe in the values that the Company highlights and the content of its handbooks in addition to faithfully executing upon them.
  • When conflicts arise, the CDS must courageously raise them and encourage an open and honest dialogue that leads to complete resolution or compromise that is fully bought in by the CDS and the Company.


  • $50,000
  • $5K to $15K Bonus Potential

Position Requirements

  • An ability to balance the needs of customers, employees and ownership and apply that understanding in day-to-day decisions that affect the equilibrium among those constituencies
  • A background in the luxury hospitality sector, including food and beverage management, with a proven track record of high end delivery
  • An understanding of the local market
  • Successfully managing budgets, prioritizing spend, driving profit and identifying cost efficiencies
  • Computer literacy on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft office
  • Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a diverse team with fairness and empathy, having courageous performance discussions as appropriate. Able to create and implement economically sustainable solutions to the mutual benefit of all parties
  • Creates a culture of results within a high-pressured environment through a strong team spirit, instilling a hunger to be part of a winning team
  • Anticipates and takes advantage of internal and external factors, for long term commercial benefit
  • Is highly organized in working style, prioritizing, scheduling and delegating with skill
  • Able to listen with empathy enabling impartial judgement, quickly establishing trust and rapport
  • Delivering unequivocally on client and customer promises and contractual compliance
