Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. Assisting the General Manager, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience.


  • Half of monthly medical insurance expense covered by corporate, available on first day of the month following 60 days of service
  • Short term disability insurance provided
  • 10 week training, rotate and train across all roles
  • 7 days of vacation after 1 year, additional day added per additional year of service

Position Requirements

  • Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance
  • Effective communicator one on one or in front of large groups
  • Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities
  • Ability to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants
  • Has the ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • Effective motivational skills • Customer centric approach to management
  • Task driven, with a focus on meeting core objectives
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and software
