Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in existing programs.
  • Develop enhancements to existing applications.
  • Develop new reports and user queries
  • Test and validate computer applications.
  • Create user and system documentation.
  • Maintain Source code control.
  • Manage distribution of software.
  • Single language proficiency
  • MicroStrategy application development experience required.
  • General IS knowledge

Position Requirements

  • PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: This is an entry level position that will mainly focus on the maintenance of existing programs, the development of reports, user queries and minor application enhancements.  Any involvement in new design will be under the guidance of a Senior Programmer Analyst.  Typically, candidates for this position will require 90-120 days of orientation and familiarization with client’s specific environment.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED: 
    • 0-2 Years of work related experience in 1 or more of C++, JavaScript, Python, and/or SQL while using message queues.
    • 4-year degree in CS/IS
    • Additional:  A four-year degree in CS/IS or equivalent technical school education and or work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
