Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Keep the facility and grounds in excellent working order
  • Oversee preventative maintenance program for all rooms, equipment and buildings systems
  • Leadership of team members including selection, training, scheduling, conducting performance reviews
  • Evaluate and maintain building systems, including fire alarm; create and review strategic operational plans to ensure best operation
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Regularly update job knowledge and skills through educational opportunities and self study

Position Requirements

  • Hotel or venue maintenance experience required
  • Ability to design department to maximize customer service
  • Skilled at supervising a team with differing levels of skills and experience
  • Hands on experience with building facility technology and systems
  • Expert at hands-on equipment and systems maintenance
  • Physical Requirements - lift up to 50 lbs, bending, stretching
  • A completed police clearance is required as a condition of employment
