Position Overview & Responsibilities

Join this innovative and growing food service firm producing and delivering thousands of healthy meals every day to local schools. The Kitchen Manager / Production Manager is responsible for:  
  • Leading, motivating, training and developing 20-50 staff in producing and packing meals
  • Meeting production and quality targets in a timely manner
  • Overseeing all phases of food production, procurement, inventory, ordering, storage, food preparation, recipe adherence and production time standards

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years as a Kitchen or Production Manager in a high-volume (5,000+ meals/day) meal production and packaging facility, e.g, school lunch, airline meal vendor, prison meal provider, vending, grab-n-go supplier
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish
  • Culinary degree preferred
