Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Work in coordination with all employees and management leadership to analyze, monitor and assess critical activities affecting policy, organizational guidance, and developmental processes
  • Develop recommendations for the Plant leadership to support attainment of goals and requirements and sustainment of Continuous Improvement
  • Lead the execution of continuous improvement projects
  • Individually complete defined/assigned projects as needed
  • Assist with project identification, selection and prioritization
  • Provide support to facilitate completion of projects
  • Provide training and coaching to front line leaders and other designated personnel in the use of continuous improvement tools and methodology
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teams, process owners, sponsors, leaders, and individuals using defined tools and techniques that will help realize gains associated with process improvement.
  • Classroom instruction includes the use of simulations, PowerPoint presentations and associated materials

Position Requirements

  • Flexibility to work on all shifts as needed. Good execution of Micro soft office. Excellent organization and efficient time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Bilingual (English – Spanish)
  •  B.A, B.S. required, Green Belt or 2-3 years’ experience as Lean Leader.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to write detailed reports with illustrations. Ability to communicate effectively to management and to employees of organization.
  • Ability to measure and calculate in numerous UoM.
  • Advanced problem-solving methodologies a must
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must be able to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
