Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Event Planner to ensure every detail is well-planned and service expectations are exceeded
  • Manage the Event Staff and assign / delegate tasks
  • Supervise staff during the event to make sure everyone is at their assigned stations, etc.
  • Continuously cleaning before, during, and after the event, etc.
  • Closely mingles with the Host to ensure they are happy and satisfied
  • Quickly resolves complaints and answers questions
  • Creates and maintains tracking system of events to spot areas of need / improvements

Position Requirements

  • About 3 years experience as a Banquet Manager
  • Effective leader - commands authority and likeable
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Thoroughly enjoys being around people, maintains upbeat attitude even during stressful times
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Great understanding of food prep and presentation
  • Able to be active on feet for long periods of time
