Jonathan grew up in restaurants. He started washing dishes and cooking at age 15 and never looked back. At age 21, he graduated with a degree from the prestigious University of Denver Hospitality School. And since then, he worked his way up from Kitchen Manager to Assistant Manager to Restaurant Manager to Area Director to Franchise Consultant to Vice President of Operations of a multi-concept 28-unit chain and now owner of Rough Draft Restaurant Group.
Jonathan has hired hundreds of managers and supervised thousands of staff members, so he knows “what right looks like.” Along the way Jonathan supervised the highest volume store at Applebee’s … that’s #1 out of nearly 2,000 locations. He went on to do the same thing at Famous Dave’s BBQ restaurants … supervising the #1 store out of 180 locations. But Jonathan’s success is about so much more than sales numbers, because everywhere he goes his restaurants consistently win the most prestigious franchise awards for culture, service and guest satisfaction.

I emailed Patrice & Associates on Jan 1... Jay called me on Jan 2 @ 10am. We briefly discussed my resume and what I was looking for. He explained he had a few contacts that he could reach out to and give me a call if he found something. To make a long story short he called me the following day with a possibility, I expressed interest, he reached out to the owner and we set up a time for an interview. Basically, I was offered the job on the spot! I realize it doesn't always happen this way but...I basically had an interview with Jay...an interview with a client and was hired in 13 days!
