The menu includes a custom-assembled pasta dish, with a choice of pastas, sauces, and toppings. Meals are served with complimentary bread and olive oil. Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Validate invoices weekly from point-of-sale upload
  • Monthly invoice uploads
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Period close tasks
  • Collaborate with all departments
  • Ensures proper accounting procedures are being followed for processing invoices for payment
  • Reconciles account statements from vendors
  • Correspond with vendor inquiries
  • Correspond with restaurant inquiries
  • Verify and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain and create vendors
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Senior AP Specialist and Assistant Controller

Position Requirements

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influence skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with vendors, restaurant managers and RSC departments
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with Great Plains strongly preferred or equivalent, in addition to any document management system
