Most Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long does it take to get paid? This position is 100% commission. You will not receive a check for approximately 60 – 90 days. When you start recruiting, source some candidates, get them out on interviews, they get hired, they give two weeks notice, they start their job – we get paid 30 days after their start date.
  2. Guarantees & Refunds – Most companies receive a 90 day guarantee with each hire. A recruiter needs to always have a hire “on books” to cover any fall outs. No recruiter is ever asked to refund cash payment for a candidate that does not successfully make it through the guarantee period.
  3. How do I find candidates? There are several ways to source candidates – and you MUST be willing and able to work each approach:

COLD CALLING: cold calling is an essential part of your day. The most successful recruiters are skilled in cold calling to source candidates not found online. There are thousands of restaurant managers who want a new job but are intimidated by the job boards, don’t know how to write a resume, or figure they’re never home to answer the phone anyway, so why bother. They would love to talk to a recruiter that would write their resume and set up interviews around their work schedule.

REFERENCES and REFERRALS: Often references or friends of your candidate would like you to assist them in a new job search.

ADS and JOB BOARDS: There are many sites on the internet where you can post free ads and search resume databases. Many of the social networking websites are also a great source for contacts.
