“Praise the Baby Cheezuz,” cried out the American radio presenter Toby Knapp like a voice in the darkness, wandering through the wilderness. “We have at last found our savior, the messiah has come, with artificial flavors, carbohydrates and more! Now we will find peace and love for all mankind, and Congress won’t shut the Government down, either!”
It’s not believed that Knapp was under the influence of any intoxicants at the time of his interview for this story.

Many times I’ve been shopping and had the clerk look at me strangely when I paid my bill in cash. Better yet, buy an expensive item and put $5K cash on the counter and people think you are a drug dealer! It says something about our country when cash is the exception not the norm…and our National Debt is up to what now!
Just when restaurants are starting to recover from the economy they have to post the calorie count on all items on their menu. A TGIF appetizer with 3330 calories!
Frankly I’m tired of the government thinking they have to “take care of us”. We can’t decide for ourselves if we should wear a seat belt – the government has to decide and punish us with a fine if we don’t obey. Now the government feels like they have to fix the obesity in the country. We pitiful humans cannot be responsible for ourselves. We are unable to make decisions about what we want to eat, about what we want to weigh, the government has to mandate controls which they feel will “help the severe obesity problem in this country”. Why can’t we take responsibility for our own actions without always blaming others.
