The Alcatraz Restaurant

I have never had the desire to dine in a prison, but apparantly there are people who love the experience.  You are handcuffed and led to a table set up in an actual prison.  This would not lead to a romantic evening with me!

This adds a whole new dimension to a restaurant manager’s job – “Are the handcuffs clean?”

Question: would be enjoying being a restaurant manager in this restaurant? It seems to me like Japan has a lot of themed restaurants that I just don’t think would fly in the US.

Count me out but it seems like a great place college kids would go.

Now, this is just silly. The ultimate theme restaurant. I bet the servers hate having to open and close those doors with a full tray or food and drinks. Don’t think I would spend the bucks but I do wish they would’ve had a cool restaurant like this when I visited the real Alcatraz. Now that would have been authentic.

I normally like wierd ideas, but this just seems silly. How uncomfortable to eat with handcuffs. I spill enough food by myself, I don’t need any help!
