Take it easy on the government guys. They have to justify the short hours and high pay they get with some ideas once in a while.

Rich is correct. But let me add this...When I see an overweight child I immediately look at the parents. Most the time, the parents are overweight as well. Practice what you preach parents. Our kids are mirror images. Don't set them up for a lifetime of weight controlled health issues! It's a hard battle to fight, in this fast paced world it's easier to swing to a drive-thru and get a heart attack in a sack then eat something healthy. Make fast food a rare treat, not a weekly occurrence!

I think this is outrageous! If I want a quarter-pounder, and I walk in and see the calorie count. It's not going to change my mind. This is not the governments fight. If people want to get fat and happy, let them get fat and happy. Government - stick to the united health care plan, that's a way you can implement programs to help with obesity.

I agree 100% Rich. Sure obesity is a problem but no one I know that is overweight expects the government to fix it. The concept of the government thinking they are going to fix the weight problem of American is laughable. How many years have they been fighting and still losing the "war on drugs"?

I noticed the other day when watching the Little League World Series that most of the kids playing the game were over weight. Actually the US players were in pretty good shape. I was astonished that the Asian kids were almost twice the size they were 15 years ago. We have Americanized the world I guess. We anyway it's the parents who need to get off the butt and take care of their kids and direct them to better foods. GOVERNMENT stay out of it.

I think the information should be available but I don't think they should have to post it on huge signs in their restaurant.

Pretty soon the government will make everyone serve tofu and yogurt and we won't be able to get anything good to eat.

I agree with you Linda. Anyone that has ever been on a diet or looked into nutrition knows what they are eating in these kinds of restaurants. Why does the restaurant have to ostracized for their menu?
